Here you can read this touching short story  by South African writer Nadine Gordimer.

Most of her work is about the exploitation of black people from  white people. “There is one thing I am sure of: racism is wrong”. She did her duty as a citizen. Denouncing apartheid in her books was one of them, along with letting the world know of the ruinous consequences of the racial discrimination of system to the lives of people. In 1991 she was rewarded with the Nobel Prize for having pointed the finger at apartheid for fifty years.
