Yesterday Seamus Heaney, the Nobel prize-winning Northern Irish poet, died in hospital in Dublin after a short illness.
Minister for
Arts, Culture and the Gaeltacht Jimmy Deenihan said Mr Heaney "was a huge figure
internationally, just a great ambassador for literature obviously but also for
Ireland".
